JPIF Productions is producing a feature film from an original screenplay entitled The Stoner's Guide To Being Cool. The plan is to produce a film of high quality with low cost so that a considerable profit margin can be achieved.

The Stoner's Guide To Being Cool will feature at least one name actor in a pivotal role. Filming will take three weeks. Post-production will continue for three months, followed by marketing the film to distributors. The Stoner's Guide To Being Cool should take approximately six months to produce and be ready for the market.

This comedic genre has a built quite a cult following, starting with films like Cheech and Chong in the 1970s. Since then, there have been a number of successful stoner films including Half Baked, How High, Mallrats, Superbad, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, and most recently Pineapple Express.

Another upside to this particular project is the potential for a sequel, The Stoner's Guide To Amsterdam. Our story strongly lends itself to this possibility, and similarly, the stoner trilogy Friday (Next Friday, Friday After Next) have made over 118 million dollars combined. This trend continues with the opening of Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay.
